Hinda Miller: Geo-Politics

Vermont State Senator

Hinda Miller began her journey as co-founder of Jogbra, Inc. in 1977. Jogbra's importance to the women's sports industry as a cultural icon is validated by its inclusion in the collections of the Smithsonian Institute and Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ms. Miller spearheaded Jogbra's development as President from 1977 until 1990, when the company was purchased by Playtex Apparel, Inc., in 1990. In 1991, when Playtex Apparel was sold to Sara Lee Corp. Ms. Miller continued her leadership as President until 1994. For the next two years, she was CEO of the Champion Jogbra division of Sara Lee. Currently, Since January 2003, Hinda Miller has worked as a Vermont State Senator. She also lends her business acumen as a board member of the Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and the New England Culinary Institute. She is also trustee emeritus of Champlain College.
