Well... I fall in the generation X dem., but I'm certainly not lazy, although I know people who fit this profile just right. They're not only lazy, but also "young and restless" set out to reinvent the wheel (in marketing that is, which is my area). Gen X has no respect for the past and wants to do things their way, no matter what others have done successfully or not in the past. I see very clearly, though, the power of research and knowing the make up of the market. We often tend to believe other people are like us, when in fact, if you look at any decent piece of research, you're almost in shock in disbelief.
